How Nhume works
Nhume introduces a sender to a traveller with spare checked-luggage space. We are not the carrier and we do not process payment.
For senders
- Search a route. Compare origins, destinations, dates and the space a traveller says is available.
- Describe the item fully. Give the exact contents, weight, dimensions and approximate value.
- Request space. The traveller reviews the information and decides whether to continue.
- Meet and inspect. Open the item together in a safe public place. A traveller can refuse anything unclear.
For travellers
- Post a real journey. State the route and how much checked-luggage space you can safely offer.
- Review each request. Ask questions before agreeing to meet.
- Inspect everything. Never accept a sealed parcel or an item that differs from its description.
- Keep a record. Confirm what was collected and when it was handed over.
Payment happens outside Nhume
The sender and traveller agree the amount and payment method directly. Nhume does not hold money, provide insurance or guarantee payment, delivery or condition.
After a match
Agree where to meet, who will be present, how the item will be inspected and what will happen if travel plans change. Keep personal information limited to what is needed for the arrangement.
